90 Feet Road
90 Feet Road is the initial part of Srinagar-Leh Highway also known as NH 1D (National Highway 1D), connecting Srinagar with Ladakh.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=http://www.wikimapia.org )〕 It is located about 11.1 km from commercial centre of Kashmir Lal Chowk.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=distancebetween.com: The Leading Distance Between Site on the Net )〕 It is long starting from Soura, Srinagar and ending at Pandach, Ganderbal. It is popularly known as Nammath (in kashmiri language which means '90') among the locals.
==History==
The road was built in the early 21st century by clearing the existing clay dunes. The name 90 Feet Road was given because the width of the road is across its length.
